Who is helping me

Home Team

The answer to this question is not easy at all. In sports, as in many other areas, money cannot buy everything. I do not want to “just own” stuff.  Although you need a lot of things, it is not because you want to flash them on Instagram or stick them to your friends’ face. In sports, money is needed to achieve the goals that the athlete sets. But at the very beginning there is FAITH. First of all, I believe in myself that I can work hard and that my efforts will come to fruition and I will succeed in competitions. Without the faith and support of your surroundings, it is a much more difficult goal, and I would dare to say almost impossible.

When I started with the bobsled, I didn't know anything about them. I had no idea if I had the personal and physical preconditions to succeed. I simply fell in love with this sport after the first rides full of adrenaline.

Well, my passion wouldn't help me if other people have not seen talent in me, like the people who have been in this sport for a long time. The first one to see it was my goalkeeper coach Peter Jančovič. The person who showed me the beauty of this sport was my coach Martin Bielopotocký when I was just eighteen. However, Milan Jagnešák, the president of the Slovak Bobsled Association, let me sit in a real bobsled for the first time and try out what this sport really means on the track. He believed that I had the potential to successfully engage in this sport, he advised me, explained many technical questions...

After the first attempts in the bobsled, my colleague and coach Ladislav Noskovič decided to take me under his wings.

Apart from hard training, lifestyle coaching, equipment, top medical care and strong mental support, Ladislav also got me sponsors and contacts that still help me in my sporting progress.

I am aware that I have to work hard on myself so that their current, but especially future, support and cooperation is beneficial not only for me as an athlete, but also for these two organizations. Thank you all!

It is also very important for every athlete that his body works as well as possible. He must not neglect any injury, he must properly rehabilitate and control his health. Roman Fano, MD, helps me with this.
